BIO
Leslee Warren is a replanted mid-westerner who arrived in the Big Apple in pursuit of a stage career. She landed national tours of “Titanic” and “The King and I”, many stock productions including “Ragtime”, “Noises Off”, “It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues”, “Little shop of Horrors”, “Hamlet” and “The Sound of Music”, and a leading role in a Musicals Tonight production of “Cabin in the sky”.
Her cabaret debut solo show, “Me Myself & Eye: Songs of a Nearsighted Girl” combines her love of music and storytelling with her blurry life experiences of the world through thick glasses. Leslee’s much awaited follow up show, “Light Dark & Stormy - Lena Horne.” is a cabaret celebration honoring the iconic sepia songstress, MGM glamour girl, and internationally acclaimed nightclub sensation.
Leslee Warren has been a featured performer at Urban Stages Winter Rhythms, Don’t Tell Mama, Pangea, The Triad and Jazz on Main. She is a 2024 Eugene O'Neill Cabaret Fellow, the 2022 winner of Tomatoes Got Talent, and the narrator of the Emmy winning documentary film “A Higher Law: The Oberlin Wellington Rescue”.
