A series of play readings will be presented by Theatre 40 and the City of Beverly Hills at the new intimate Greystone Theatre at the beautiful and historic Greystone Mansion.

Next up for The Group Rep, John Murray and Allen Boretz’ zany comedy Room Service opening September 8, 2023, at their Lonny Chapman Theatre. Mareli Mitchel-Shields directs the large cast of Fox Carney, Joe Clabby, Joseph Eastburn, Tommy Jacobs, Jessica Kent, Sam Logan, Will Maizel, Matthew McLaughlin, Jackie Shearn, Bonnie Snyder, Axel Truitt, Sal Valletta, Grant Velarde, Timothy Willard and Chris Winfield. Chris graciously put down his hammer to answer a few of my queries.

 It's Only a Play a comedy written by Terrence McNally, directed by Larry Eisenbergm and produced by David Hunt will be presented by Theatre Forty (241 S, Moreno Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90212).

Larry Eisenberg directs the cast of Todd Andrew Ball, Peter Bussian, Fox Carney, Joe Clabby, Cheryl David, Mouchette van Helsdingen and Jeffrey Winner. Larry was most gracious in carving out time to give serious thoughts to answering my queries.

The Group Rep will present the stage adaptation of Colin Higgins’ cult-classic film HAROLD AND MAUDE, directed by Larry Eisenberg, produced by Lloyd Pedersen for the Group Rep.  The play runs February 10 through March 19 on the Main Stage of the Lonny Chapman Theatre in North Hollywood, CA.

Theatre Forty's production of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, a hit with critics and audiences alike, is extending by moving to the beautiful, historic Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills for a limited engagement of five performances. Please note the earlier curtain times and special reservation phone number for this engagement.

Cate Caplin directs the cast of: Larry Eisenberg, Diana Angelina, Abigail Stewart, Marc Antonio Pritchett, Fred Dawson, Crystal Jackson, Patty Lewis, Jenn Robbins and David Hunt Stafford. The very busy Cate managed to find some time between rehearsals and pre-production to answer a few of my queries.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, a play.written by Todd Kriedler, a dapted from the screenplay by William Rose. and directed by Cate Caplin will be produced for Theatre 40 by David Hunt Stafford at Theatre Forty.

Group Rep Theatre Company has announced their 50th Anniversary Season which will run October 6, 2022 through September 17, 2023. This new season will start in the fall, opening on October 6th, 70th Anniversary of the Agatha Christie classic The Mousetrap, directed by the award-winning Jules Aaron, running October 6 - November 13, 2022.
