Photo Coverage: Playwright Jon Robin Baitz Visits Group rep's PARIS LETTER

On Wednesday August 22, Group rep presented a special performance of their critically acclaimed production of Jon Robin Baitz' Paris Letter to an SRO audience. Baitz was in attendance and did a talk-back after the show. Below are photos from the evening!
Cast on hand included Larry Eisenberg, Lloyd Pedersen, Dan Sykes, Alex Parker, Julia Silverman and Paul Cady. Director Jules Aaron was also in attendance, as well as producers Patrick Burke and Sherry Netherland. Paris Letter has been extended through September 16 at Group rep located at 10900 Burbank Blvd in NoHo.
Baitz said he wrote the play to show the cost of self-disillusionment. As with many of his plays, what starts as a private matter evolves into something political, of more far-reaching consequences. He lauded Group rep's production, calling it one of the best. He also said he is happy with the play, but has often questioned whether his ending goes too far.
