The Young Players present High School Musical, Jr. July 14-17 at the historic Royal Theatre, 111 S. Market Street, in downtown Benton. Based on Disney Channel's smash hit movie, the musical comes to life on the Royal stage!

On Saturday, April 30, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey held its largest fundraising event of the year at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit. Art & Soul, VACNJ's first in-person gala since 2019, raised a record-breaking $296,000 to support the Art Center's powerful arts programming.

The event, which will take place in Summit, NJ, is the Art Center’s largest fundraiser of the year, featuring live music by Gatsby Now, cocktails, and a seated dinner. The main attraction of the evening is the Art Center’s signature silent and live auctions of contemporary art highlighted by the return of celebrity auctioneer CK Swett. This year will mark the return to an in-person celebration for the first time since 2019.

The season starts with a modern, original parody of the cult classic sci-fi comedy Little Shop of Horrors by Russ Stich titled Little Tech Shop of Horrors: When Good Science Goes Bad. 

La Porte Little Theatre will reopen with “High School Musical On Stage!” this summer. Performances will run July 23-25 and 30, and Aug. 1. The musical will feature a cast of 30 actors at the historic theatre at 218 A St.

Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM) and Smith Global Media announced that the Chicago crime drama CANAL STREET will arrive on digital platforms on August 20, 2019 and DVD on September 1, 2019.
