La MaMa will honor award-winning Olympia Dukakis for her creative achievement in the arts and her work as an activist for social change; and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom partner Dan Kurtz for his steadfast advocacy on behalf of nonprofit organizations at the La MaMa Earth Gala on Thursday, November 13th. Guests Include Austin Pendleton (who will toast Olympia), John Patrick Shanley, Matt Dillon, among others.

ZOMBIE, the film based on Joyce Carol Oates' award-winning novella, continues on a roll. After winning 'Best Short Film (Horror)' at the Washington DC International Film Festival, the psychological horror film has won 'Best Short Dramatic Screenplay' for Bill Connington, and 'Best Supporting Actor' for Kelley Van Dilla. The psychological thriller was also nominated for 'Best Actor,' 'Best Director,' and 'Best Short Dramatic Film' at the Terror Film Festival, which was held on prestigious Rittenhouse Square in central Philadelphia.
