World-renowned tenor Joseph Calleja announces the release of 'Ave Maria' – his first-ever sacred album. Released on 7th April on Decca Classics, just in time for Easter, this album marks the 20th anniversary of the Maltese tenor's exclusive signing to Decca and the making of his debut recording in 2003.

Opera Naples, one of Naples’ leading performing arts organization, has announced a star-studded cast will kick off the 2022-23 season with a famed production of “Roméo et Juliette” by Charles Gounod, featuring internationally acclaimed soprano Jeanette Vecchione-Donatti, Argentinian tenor Santiago Ballerini and Turkish bass-baritone Burak Bilgili.

Joseph Calleja has withdrawn from all Attila concert performances due to illness. The role of Foresto will be sung by Stefan Pop.  Romanian tenor Stefan Pop made his ROH debut in 2012, singing the role of Nemorino (L'elisir d'amore).

The Broad Stage will present Global superstar and Metropolitan Opera favorite Diana Damrau, returning alongside famed bass Nicolas Testé for a fun and lively program of opera, operetta, lieder, and songs on Sunday, April 24 at 7:30p.

The Dallas Opera will welcome world-renowned tenor Javier Camarena to the Winspear Opera House stage on Saturday, March 26, at 7:30pm. The recital, with pianist Ángel Rodríguez, will include beloved Neapolitan and Latin songs, and famous arias by composers including Verdi and Donizetti, for which Camarena has become known.

Opera Naples, one of Naples' leading performing arts organizations, has announced tickets are on sale for the II Festival Under the Stars. Conducted by Artistic Director Ramón Tebar and featuring the Naples Festival Orchestra, the II Festival Under the Stars will take place March 11-20 with performances at Cambier Park and the Wang Opera Center.

Determined to celebrate its 175th anniversary in spectacular style, the Gran Teatre del Liceu has organized a veritable gala performance in which Anna Netrebko and Joseph Calleja will play the leading roles in three complete acts from different operas. Thus we will see Netrebko as Mimì, Tosca and Turandot on a single, very special evening.

A trio of commanding sopranos share the role of opera’s quintessential diva. Sondra Radvanovsky, Elena Stikhina, and Aleksandra Kurzak star in David McVicar’s thrilling production, sharing the stage with tenors Brian Jagde, Joseph Calleja, and Roberto Alagna as the painter-revolutionary Cavaradossi and baritones George Gagnidze and Željko Lučić as the vile police chief Scarpia. Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Carlo Rizzi share conducting duties.

Described by the UK's Daily Telegraph as one of the Top Ten Music Festivals, the Riga Jurmala Music Festival 2022 comprises four weekends each presenting a major international orchestra: the Mariinsky Orchestra with Valery Gergiev; the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra with Michael Tilson Thomas, the Mariss Jansons Festival Orchestra with Klaus Mäkelä and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra with Manfred Honeck.

Lyric Opera of Chicago has recorded Ruggiero Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci on film. Last week, the company announced that registration was open for audiences to secure free links to screen the new Pagliacci made at the Lyric Opera House.
