Geva-Commissioned PANORAMA By Prince Gomolvilas, Chosen For Plays In Progress 2018

Geva Theatre Center unveils the play chosen for Plays in Progress 2018 to be held in the Fielding Stage on April 16. Plays in Progress are vibrant and innovative plays by some of the most exciting playwrights working today. Through Geva's Plays in Progress program, writers can hear their work performed, discuss the play with the audience and then continue to work on the play to its next level. This year's play, Panorama by Prince Gomolvilas, has been commissioned by Geva as part of the theatre's "Rochester Stories" program.

The York Theatre Company, and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present three new works: The Sleeping Beauty that has book, music & lyrics by Benjamin P. Wenzelberg, Commanders-In-Chief written by P.J. Barry, and Cheer Wars with book & lyrics by Gordon Leary and music by Karlan Judd at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The readings are open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.

BRONX BOMBERS Ends Broadway Run Today

Bronx Bombers will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, March 2 at 3PM at Circle in the Square Theatre (50th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). Bronx Bombers is produced on Broadway by Fran Kirmser and Tony Ponturo, and written and directed by Eric Simonson.
