Geva Theatre Center presents the world premiere of Other Than Honorable by Jamie Pachino. Other Than Honorable is directed by Kimberly Senior and will be performed in the Wilson Stage from April 25 - May 21.

With her husband deployed to an unknown location, lawyer Grace Rattigan, a former Army officer who resigned her commission under sealed terms, must make life-altering decisions on her own. When she reluctantly takes on a military sexual assault case, it re-opens old wounds and forces her to confront her past, along with the real meaning of the military's codes of Honor, courage and loyalty

Jamie Pachino is an award-winning playwright, screenwriter and television writer. Her work has been produced in four countries, commissioned, published and honored. As a playwright, her work has been named the winner of the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays production grant, the Laurie Foundation Theatre Visionary Award, Chicago's Joseph Jefferson ("Jeff") Award for Best New Work, the Pinter Prize Gold Medal for Drama, the John Gassner Memorial Playwriting Award, and the Francesca Primus Prize by the American Theatre Critics Association, among many others. Her plays have been nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and Illinois Governor's Award, and named Runner-up for the Osborn Award (American Theater Critics Association) and Jane Chambers Award.

Her plays have been produced and developed by such theatres as Steppenwolf, Long Wharf, Hartford Stage, American Conservatory Theatre, Geva Theatre Center, San Jose Rep, Pasadena Playhouse, Northlight, Florida Stage, A Contemporary Theatre, and the Women's Playwright Conference in Athens, Greece. On television, Ms. Pachino is currently a writer/Supervising Producer on the series "Chicago PD" for NBC. Previous series work includes "Halt and Catch Fire" for AMC, "Franklin & Bash" for TNT and "Fairly Legal" for USA. She has written multiple teleplays for the HallMark Hall of Fame, Hallmark Channel, Lifetime Television and UP. Her newest movie, American Girl: Maryellen Special, will premiere on Amazon this November. As a screenwriter, she has written features for DreamWorks, Disney, Vanguard Films, Walden Media, and Smith/Hemion. Other film scripts have been optioned by Greenestreet, Hearst, Trigger Street Films, and Lions Gate.

Ms. Pachino has served on the faculties of Northwestern University (her alma mater), University of California Irvine, National Louis University, Columbia College and the Chicago Academy of the Arts. She is a proud member of the WGA, The Playwrights Center, and the International Center for Women Playwrights.

This is the second play by Jamie Pachino that has had its world premiere at Geva Theatre Center. In 2006 Geva premiered Splitting Infinity, a play which was subsequently produced at San Jose Repertory Theater, Florida Stage, New York's Summer Play Festival (SPF) and OpenStage in Colorado.

Prior to this world premiere production at Geva, Other than Honorable was workshopped at The Gulfshore New Plays Festival in Naples, FL in 2015 where it was named a winner, and the American Blues Theatre Festival where it won the Blue Ink Award. It was also a winner at the Ashland New Plays Festival in 2013. It had readings at Lincoln Center in 2014 and at the Bristol Riverside American Rising Reading Series in 2013. In addition, the play was a winner at the 2015 John Gassner Playwriting Award Competition, a finalist for the 2015 Jane Chambers Award, a semi-finalist at the Bay Area Playwright's Festival, a semi-finalist at the National Playwrights Conference and was awarded an Honorable Mention on the 2015 Kilroys List.

Making their Geva Theatre Center debuts in Other Than Honorable are Jessiee Datino (Off-Broadway productions of The Late Christopher Bean and Sin) as Grace Rattigan, Aimé Donna Kelly (Off-Broadway's "Exit Strategy" and Netflix's "Iron Fist") as PFC Lydia Walsh, Jason Kolotouros (the Signature Theatre production of Sam Shepard's Particle of Dread, TV's "Person of Interest," "Blue Bloods," "Damages," "The Good Wife" and "Nurse Jackie") as Brigadier General Gideon Kane, Elizabeth Rich (Off-Broadway's What We Wanted and TV's "House Of Cards," "The Good Wife" and "Boardwalk Empire") as Dr. Brenda Kurtz, Barbara Robertson (national tours of Wicked and Angels in America I and II) as Alvina Croft, Juan Francisco Villa (Off-Broadway's Empanada for a Dream and The Play About My Dad and TV's "Chicago PD" and "Blacklist: Redemption and Betrayal") as Major Hector Nuñez and John Wernke (Broadway productions of The Bronx Bombers, The American Plan, Accent On Youth and The Royal Family, and TV's "The Good Wife" and "Person of Interest") as Captain Billy Rattigan. Local actors Rory Cushman, Christian Hurdle and Jill Rittinger round out the cast as Witnesses.

Other Than Honorable is directed by Kimberly Senior (Broadway's Disgraced). The design team includes Jack Magaw (scenic design), Nan Zabriskie (costume design), Josh Epstein (lighting design), Lindsay Jones (original music and sound design) and Miles Polaski (Projection Design).
