The Colorado Theatre Guild Announces 14th Annual Henry Award Nominations


The Colorado Theatre Guild's 14th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons St. Lone Tree, CO 80124. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a catered reception at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Tickets are $35 for CTG members, $40 non-members or $50 at the door. Omaha Community Playhouse Presents Staged Reading of DRAGON


Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP) is hosting a staged reading of DragOn on Monday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hawks Mainstage Theatre. DragOn is a part of OCP's Alternative Programming series. Alternative Programming events are free and open to the public, however free-will donations of any amount are crucial to continuing adventurous programming.

World Premiere SIN STREET SOCIAL CLUB Comes To The Arvada Center March 15


The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities continues the third season of its critically acclaimed Black Box Repertory on March 15, 2019, with the world premiere of Sin Street Social Club, a comedic adaptation about women discovering their destinies on the swinging streets of 1916 New Orleans written by Colorado creative Jessica Austgen and directed by Lynne Collins.  This production is underwritten by Diana and Mike Kinsey.  The 2018 - 2019 Theatre Season Presenting Sponsor is Lutheran Medical Center.

The Arvada Center has announced its 2018-2019 season, a diverse line-up of plays and musicals. From this weekend, September 11-13, the Festival will come alive with performances from five state-wide community theatres, six professional workshops, acting competitions, and nightlife networking, or 'wetworking,' in downtown Denver with fellow theatre lovers and experts from around Colorado. Ranked as one of the best community theatre festivals in the country, the Colorado Theatre Festival takes the spotlight at the Robert and Judi Newman Center for Theatre Education, 1101 13th Street, Denver, across the street from the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

Colorado Community Theatre Coalition to Host 25th Annual Theatre Festival, 8/7-10


The Colorado Community Theatre Coalition, a statewide organization to promote and enrich community theatre in Colorado, will be hosting its 25th Annual Theatre Festival August 7 - 10 at the Denver Center Theatre Academy in the Robert and Judi Newman Center for Theatre Education, 1101 13th Street, Denver, CO 80204, right across the street from the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The festival offers performances of nine shows from community theatres across the state, twelve creative and informative workshops, an opportunity to participate in an acting competition, and a chance to network with fellow theatre lovers and experts from around Colorado. Full registration for the festival is $65 for adults and $50 for students. Tickets are also available for individual shows and workshops.
