Rubicon Theatre, Ventura County's leading not-for-profit professional theatre company, committed to entertaining, engaging and enriching the community through live performance, has announced the eagerly anticipated Kids for Kids Benefit Concert, “WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW…” an enchanting evening of music and entertainment featuring the timeless melodies of Burt Bacharach and Friends, Saturday, August 19th at 7:00 PM.

Rubicon Theatre will have the students of the organization’s Kids’ Musical Theatre Camp present the highly anticipated production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY Young@Part. Opening this Friday, July 28 and running through Sunday, July 30, this kooky, spooky and hilarious musical extravaganza, performed by students ages 12 to 14, promises to be a highlight of the summer.

State Theatre New Jersey presents four performances of the Tony Award-winning masterpiece featuring the music of George and Ira Gershwin, An American in Paris on Friday, February 25 at 8pm; Saturday, February 26 at 2pm & 8pm; and Sunday, February 27 at 2pm. Tickets range from $40-$98.  

Filled with the music of legendary composers George and Ira Gershwin, the Tony Award-Winning masterpiece, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, is dancing its way to the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls on February 14, 2020.

Winner of four Tony Awards, including best choreography, this loving tribute to the Oscar winning film finds an American soldier and a mysterious French woman in Paris, looking to begin again after World War II.

Romance! Adventure! Gershwin! Who could ask for anything more? Filled with the music of legendary composers George and Ira Gershwin, the Tony Award-winning masterpiece, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, is dancing its way to a city near you. The 2020 tour, produced by Big League Productions, Inc., launches in Yakima, WA on January 11, and will travel to more than 80 cities across the USA.

Rubicon Theatre Company has announced what is expected to be the biggest and most extraordinary Kids for Kids Benefit Concert in the company's history for Saturday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the theatre, located at 1006 E. Main Street in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District. More than 70 young people will be performing onstage or via video in an entertaining musical variety show that raises funds for scholarships for next summer's education and outreach participants. 

'The Three Musketeers' is high adventure for all ages . Director Brandon Bruce delivers great theater combined with a high-energy stunt show. You are treated to dazzling sword fights, combat acrobatics, and a dramatic plot with interesting characters performed by amazing actors. This classic story is rich with the spirit of adventure, friendship, honor and romance.

Admirably directed and choreographed by Richard J. Hinds, La Mirada Theatre's NEWSIES aims to be an amiable hybrid between the popularly-received original show and a new iteration that feels fresh for us Fansies forever obsessed with the earlier Disney-backed production that played Broadway and went on tour for a few years. Filled with high-energy music and dancing and a lively, eager-to-please spirit embedded in its DNA, this brand-new Southern California regional theater production of NEWSIES---which continues performances at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts through June 24---is a wonderfully caffeinated jolt of a stage show, highlighted by a remarkably talented and athletically-blessed ensemble that leaps and belts one show stopping number after another. Sierra Repertory Theatre opens its 2018 season with Mamma Mia!, the international smash-hit musical. ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a teen's search for her birth father on a Greek island paradise. Mamma Mia! is directed and choreographed by Valerie Rachelle, music directed by John C. Rubicon Theatre Company lands a winner with its latest musical comedy RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET by Bob Carlton.
