Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts presents a fresh lineup for its 2023–24 season, filled with a diverse range of voices, talents and perspectives from around the world, including artists from Sweden, Russia, Australia, Canada, Ireland and the United States. 

Wright State Theatre will stage Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Sweat, as its first play of 2022, running February 3rd through the 13th. Check out photos from the Wright State University Theatre production below.

If you've ever thought of those questions, or are looking for a fun, entertaining night of theatre, then Des Moines Playhouse's production of 'Plaza Suite' is the right show for you. On Friday, July 16, the show opened to a packed tent as part of the Playhouse's summer Tent series. And from the audience's reactions, this was just the comedy they needed this summer.

The production will be directed by GET Associate Artistic Director James Donadio and run September 12th through 28th, 2019, at the company's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. The Robert W. Hagan Family Foundation is graciously sponsoring this show.

In 2010, just after the failed Green Uprising (the political movement that arose after the 2009 Iranian presidential election, in which protesters demanded the removal of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from office), I went to Iran on a theatre residency. The experience changed my life.
