Guy Wicke

Local character Guy Wicke has been performing in his hometown of Chicago since the turn of the century. Theatre credits include BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA, INFINITY BURNS (A Red Orchid Theatre); LIFE ON PAPER (Jackalope Theatre Company); TRES BANDIDOS (The Agency); A MURDER MOST NOVEL, THE BASEMENT COMPANY (Death & Pretzels); NOISES OFF, THE MOUSETRAP (Metropolis Performing Arts Centre); THE EXPLORERS CLUB, DON’T DRESS FOR DINNER (Citadel Theatre Company); and ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL (Forest Theatre Company). He has done a variety of readings as an ensemble member of Avalanche Theatre Company; as well as work with the International Voices Project, NoMads Art Collective, Genesis Theatrical Productions, CenterStage in Lake Forest, Theater D, and the Arc, Black Fox, Clockwise, Continuum, Eclectic Full Contact, Explore, Intrinsic, Otherworld, Piccolo, Side Project, and Spartan theatre companies. Film credits include Dubious Ruffians, The Courtship, In the Dark, Screens, Águila del Sol, Lifelines, and Blood Moon. He has appeared in two dozen or so television commercials as well as a variety of industrial films for regional and national companies. Having gotten his start with improv comedy, he now teaches improv at the Metropolis School of the Performing Arts. You might occasionally see him pop up on your TV or in random bits of mischief around town. Always mischief.
