In the signature style of a young artist shaking up the classical music scene, violinist and The Soraya's Artist-in-Residence Etienne Gara will lead Delirium Musicum in back-to-back concerts that celebrate the recent release of Warner Classic's “Seasons” recorded by Delirium Musicum onstage at The Soraya.

One of the most successful folk-rock duos in history, Indigo Girls, comes to Los Angeles for one night only on Saturday, June 24 at The Luckman Fine  Arts Complex in unique presenting partnership with The Soraya at Cal State Northridge.  

The Soraya's monthlong Jazz at Naz Festival rolls into March this year with two masters of the musical genre—the elder statesman sax legend Charles Lloyd celebrates his 85th birthday on March 18 with an all-star lineup, and the 2023 GRAMMY Award-winning Best New Artist Samara Joy makes her debut at The Soraya with Clayton-Hamilton Orchestra on March 26. Sleepless, the musical based on the film Sleepless in Seattle, has been postponed, due to the extension of the West End's shutdown through the end of June. Sleepless was set to premiere in London on 25 March 2020 at the newly opened Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.

Sue Simmerling, owner of costume design company Carry on Costumes, is doing her bit to help the NHS in its battle against COVID-19. Sue was contacted by fellow designer Dulcie Scott, who started the crowdfunding group 'Helping Dress Medics'. The group's aim is to purchase fabrics that are then made into scrubs for the NHS medics dealing with the virus in hospitals.
