Gabriela Saker Biography
Gabriela Saker is a Cuban-born actress and producer, currently based in New York and Puerto Rico. Winner of the Princess Grace Award in Theatre 2022. Also in 2022, she earned her MFA from The Juilliard School and made her regional theatre debut as Marela in Anna in the Tropics at Barrington Stage Company (Nominated for Best Supporting Performer in a Play, BroadwayWorld Berkshire Awards). In Puerto Rico, she is the founder and artistic director of Puerto Rican theatre company Teatro Público, and is a proud graduate of the University of Puerto Rico. She has worked with The Acting Company, Notch Theatre Company, The Peace Studio and Repertorio Español, and has performed internationally in Rwanda and Spain. Her lead role in the short film Monserrate earned her the Best Actress Award at Rincon International Film Festival and Lusca Film Festival.Gabriela Saker News
