Ethan Mathias

Hi! I'm Ethan, a 17-year-old performer (singer, actor, musician, dancer) based in New York City. I am a freshman Classical Voice Major at Mannes School of Music at The New School in NYC, studying with Arthur Levy.

I had a successful solo cabaret show debut with Outside the Lines at Don't Tell Mama in spring 2025, which won the MAC Award for New York Debut – Male and the BroadwayWorld Cabaret Award for Debut Show – Run of Show. My follow-up solo show, Wait 'Til You See What's Next, created with Music Director Michael Lavine and directed by Eric Michael Gillett, debuted at The Green Room 42 in July 2026 and returns November 15 and December 8. This fall, I'm also appearing in Elysian Fields (Off-Broadway) at the American Theatre of Actors, October 13 – November 1.

I have participated in Songbook Academy with Michael Feinstein in 2024, 2025, and 2026, was a Junior Cabaret Fellow at the Cabaret & Performance Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, and participated in the St. Louis Cabaret Conference.

I am fluent in Spanish, quick at picking up other languages, and an advanced pop/jazz piano player. I currently dance with Dance Molinari.

Film credits include a co-starring role with Daniel Radcliffe and Tracy Morgan in NBC's The Fall & Rise of Reggie Dinkins, the lead role in Lee Wilkoff's short proof-of-concept film, Teenage Waistband (currently in film festivals), and Miracle on Christmas (available on Amazon streaming).

My voice teacher since I was 10 is Chris York. I have also studied with Giuseppe Spolentini, John Brancy, and Adam Guettel.

I am represented bicoastally by Rebel Creative Group and Take 3 Talent Agency.
