On the heels of a successful return of On Your Feet! to its hometown, Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre is thrilled to bring an exhilarating production about another musical legend, Hank Williams, to the iconic Coral Gables theatre in Hank Williams: Lost Highway.
Actors' Playhouse has announced the complete cast and creative team for Hank Williams: Lost Highway, the musical biography of the legendary singer-songwriter written by Randal Myer and Mark Harelik. The production will run for a limited engagement from July 13 - 31, 2022 at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables.

A who’s who in the history of Palm Beach Dramaworks is set to participate in a live reading of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol on Monday evening, December 21 at 7:30pm. In the tradition of Dickens reading his own work, this presentation will showcase PBD luminaries reading the 1843 novella, with each artist separately performing a portion of the book before handing off to the next actor.
Palm Beach Dramaworks has announced that in celebration of the company's 20th anniversary, its popular Dramalogue: Talking Theatre! series is back, having been transformed into a weekly virtual program that can be seen every Friday evening from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

For her portrayal of Molly Goldberg, the matriarch of a Jewish family living in the Bronx, Berg was the first recipient of an Emmy Award for Best Actress.
Nine gifted local students are showcasing their talents at Palm Beach Dramaworks in three performances of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul's Edges, the first production by TheAcademy@pbd, a new program that provides teens with classes and the opportunity to perform onstage in a professional setting. Palm Beach Dramaworks Producing Artistic Director William Hayes and GableStage Producing Artistic Director Joseph Adler are pleased to announce that their companies will be working together to co-produce the world premiere of Ordinary Americans, a play by Joseph McDonough based on actual events in the lives of Gertrude Berg and Philip Loeb, stars of television's groundbreaking sitcom,The Goldbergs, which premiered on CBS in 1949. As previously announced, Ordinary Americans will be staged at PBD from December 6 - 29, 2019. It will then move on to GableStage from January 18 - February 16, 2020. Hayes will direct, and South Florida favorite Elizabeth Dimon will star as Berg. The rest of the cast and artistic team will be announced at a later date.

It's October 4, 1965, and Pope Paul VI is spending 14 hours in New York City, marking the first visit by a reigning pope to the United States. Millions line the streets to greet him and zookeeper Artie Shaughnessy, a wannabe Hollywood songwriter with big dreams and no discernible talent, joins the throngs in the hope that a papal blessing will help propel him out of Queens, away from his mentally ill wife, Bananas, and into a new life in Los Angeles with his girlfriend, Bunny Flingus.
