Cabaret star Maude Maggart thrilled with a beautiful, if short, annual New York appearance at a sold-out Birdland Jazz on December 29 with her newest show.
The annual Cabaret Convention concert series has begun. The shows continue tonight and tomorrow at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Last night, the convention opened with songs with music by Charles Strouse (Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, Applause, etc.). It was a treat.
Maude Maggart will launch a weekly series, 'Mondays with Maude,' in the Algonquin's Oak Room March 7th, beginning with a reprise of her critically acclaimed cabaret show, 'The Talk of the Town: The Music of 1933.'
