Daniel Damiano Biography
Daniel is an Award-winning Playwright, Actor, Novelist and Poet based in Brooklyn, NY. Recent performances include various incarnations of his acclaimed solo play AMERICAN TRANQUILITY (East Village Playhouse, Downtown Urban Arts Festival and the PIT Loft in NYC, and the Capital Fringe Festival in Washington DC). He will soon return to the stage in the World Premiere of his latest solo play ONE WITH THE CURRENT as part of Theater for the New City's 2022 Dream Up Festival. Notable recent productions of his plays include the World Premiere of THE LEPERS (Ensemble Studio Theatre, NYC), HARMONY PARK (Detroit Repertory Theatre), THE DISHONORABLE DISCHARGE OF PRIVATE PITTS (fandango 4 Art House, Iati Theatre), THE GOLDEN YEAR (WorkShop Theater) and DAY OF THE DOG (St. Louis Actors' Studio/59E59 Theatre). In 2021, fandango 4 Art House published his debut novel THE WOMAN IN THE SUN HAT (Seattle Book Review Recommendation) and his debut poetry book 104 DAYS OF THE PANDEMIC.
