BE MORE CHILL Karaoke Available Today From Ghostlight Records

Ghostlight Records and Two River Theater have announced the release of BE MORE CHILL Karaoke (Original Cast Recording) to celebrate the Broadway-bound musical sensation, available today, Tuesday, January 22. The EP's seven tracks - based on the show's Original Cast Recording - include fan favorites 'More Than Survive,' 'I Love Play Rehearsal,' 'The Squip Song,' 'Two-Player Game,' 'A Guy That I'd Kinda Be Into,' 'Michael in the Bathroom,' and 'The Pitiful Children.'

BE MORE CHILL - the musical whose cult status and social media following have propelled it to chart-topping success and a long-awaited Off Broadway debut this summer - will be released on vinyl from Ghostlight Records on Friday, July 27. This release will coincide with the show's New York premiere production, which starts previews on Thursday, July 26. The show features music and lyrics by Joe Iconis, book by Joe Tracz, and is based on the novel by Ned Vizzini. Fans who pre-order through PledgeMusic will be the first to receive the vinyl double gatefold package, which features new illustrative designs, green and red colored discs, and a 16-page booklet with lyrics, production photos and a new liner note from Joe Iconis.

Ghostlight Records and Two River Theater announce the release of the Original Cast Recording of the new musical BE MORE CHILL, with a U.S. Digital Release on Friday, October 30; and international digital release on Friday, November 13; with physical CDs in stores and online Friday, December 18.
Two River Theater to Premiere BE MORE CHILL

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, concludes its 2014/15 Season with Be More Chill, a new musical with music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Tracz, based on the acclaimed 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini. The production is directed by Stephen Brackett, with orchestrations by Charlie Rosen, music direction by Nathan Dame, and choreography by Chase Brock. The production will run May 30-June 21, 2015, with the opening night on Friday, June 5. Tickets starting at $20 are available from 732.345.1400 or www.tworivertheater.org. Apparently quite a few (more than 250,000 have seen the Michael Wilson adaptation getting its 16th run at Hartford Stage). This year's annual holiday tradition gets a bit of an update, all supervised by Wilson and directed by Maxwell Williams, that includes redesigned costumes; enhanced flying effects and choreography for the ghostly apparitions; the introduction of additional characters; and the latest in lighting design technology.
