The Royal Ballet Will Perform ENCOUNTERS: Four Contemporary Ballets
The Royal Ballet will present Encounters: Four Contemporary Ballets, a mixed programme of works by 21st-century choreographers featuring world premieres by Joseph Toonga, former alumnus of The Royal Ballet Choreographic Residency programme and Pam Tanowitz, alongside the revivals of acclaimed choreographic works: Kyle Abraham’s The Weathering and Crystal Pite’s The Statement.
KONTAKTHOF " ECHOES OF '78 Will Embark on Tour
Sadler's Wells, the Pina Bausch Foundation and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch have announced Kontakthof – Echoes of '78 – a new encounter with Bausch's seminal work, conceived and directed by Meryl Tankard, who was one of the main characters in 1978. Tankard will reunite with other members from the original cast for this unique production, which receives its world premiere at the Opernhaus Wuppertal, Germany in November 2024.
Ballet Edmonton Comes to Toronto This Month
Ballet Edmonton will debut a new work at Fall For Dance North (FFDN), Toronto's premier professional international dance festival, on September 26th and 27th with the world premiere of a new creation by choreographer Anne Plamondon; “Feel no More”.
