Constance Zaytoun is an actor, VO artist, writer, on-camera host, and producer. New York credits include: Sex Work Sex Play (upcoming, Emerging Artists Theatre); And Baby Makes Seven (New Ohio Theatre); Broken Hands (Theatre Row); Why We Have a Body (Blue Heron); Seen by the Dog (West End Theatre); The Piano Men (DTW). TV: “Saint X,” “Gossip Girl,” “FBI: Most Wanted,” & “Constance Cooks” (creator/producer). Zaytoun is a published author with a Masters in feminist performance from the Gallatin School at New York University and a Ph.D. in theatre studies from CUNY Graduate Center.

The 2019 NY Indie Theatre Film Festival opens tonight, February 8 at 7pm, with the NY festival premiere of Poor Behavior (2016), written by Theresa Rebeck. Based on her play of the same name, Ms. Rebeck (upcoming spy thriller 355, Broadway's Bernhardt/Hamlet, NBC's 'Smash') makes her film directorial debut with this dark, dysfunctional comedy. Rebeck will participate in a talkback after the screening, moderated by Marc Stuart Weitz, New Ohio Theatre's Producing Director.

Marc Stuart Weitz will direct ensemble including Ken Barnett (Wonderful Town, Julie Taymor's The Green Bird) as Peter, Susan Bott (Julie Kramer's The Best of Everything) as Ruth and Constance Zaytoun (Moby Pomerance's Broken Hands) as Anna. And Baby Makes Seven is an uproarious and timely comedy that has not been seen professionally in New York in 20 years. Performances will take place today, March 11-April 12 at the New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street, between Washington and Greenwich Streets). Critics are welcome as of March 19 for an opening of March 23.

New Ohio Theatre Artistic Director Robert Lyons, in association with Purpleman Theater, has announced Baby Talk, a weekly conversation series which follows all Wednesday night performances of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel's And Baby Makes Seven. Produced by Gwynn MacDonald, Loren Noveck and Purpleman Theater, Baby Talk will feature playwrights, performers, thinkers and activists who will discuss some of the issues touched on in And Baby Makes Seven, as well as Vogel's career as a playwright and her influence as a teacher and mentor. Kron and Margolin Reuinite In 'Time' At West End Theatre


Two celebrated figures in the theatre, actress Lisa Kron and playwright Deb Margolin, will be reunited for the first time in twenty years when Six Figures Theatre Company and Purple Man Theater present Ms. Kron in the world premiere of Ms. Margolin's newest work, TIME IS THE MERCY OF ETERNITY -- four short plays about the effects of love, violence, and obsession on the body and soul -- with previews set to begin April 21 prior to its official press opening April 22 at West End Theatre (263 West 86th Street) in Manhattan.
