The “Spotlight on Plays” series has announced Emmy Award winner Eric McCormack and Brandon Burton will join previously announced star Mary-Louise Parker in Paula Vogel’s The Baltimore Waltz, directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz.  The Baltimore Waltz will premiere on Thursday, April 29 at 8PM EST/5PM PST and will be available for a limited time only.

On Thursday, April 8 at 8pm ET,  'Spotlight on Plays' will continue with Pearl Cleage's Angry, Raucous and Shamelessly Gorgeous. Camille A. Brown (Choir Boy) directs Debbie Allen as 'Betty,' Phylicia Rashad as 'Anna,' Heather Alicia Simms as 'Kate' and Alicia Stith as 'Pete.' The spring “Spotlight on Plays” series will soon welcome six celebrated, award-winning actresses. Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn & SAG nominee Carla Gugino will star in Watch on the Rhine, Emmy Award winner Kathryn Hahn will star in The Sisters Rosenweig, Tony Award winner Audra McDonald will star in Ohio State Murders, Tony Award winner Mary-Louise Parker will star in The Baltimore Waltz and Academy Award winner Meryl Streep will star in Dear Elizabeth.

The 'Spotlight on Plays' series continues with David Mamet's RACE on Thursday, October 29 at 8PM EST/ 5PM PST. The cast stars Ed O'Neill, 2020 Tony Award nominee David Alan Grier recreating his Tony-nominated performance, Alicia Stith, and Richard Thomas also recreating his role from the 2009 Broadway production. Phylicia Rashad directs.

Blue, the new play directed by Phylicia Rashad, is celebrating Mothers' Day with a new video!

The marquee is up on the legendary Apollo Theater for the upcoming Broadway Uptown production of “Blue” starring Leslie Uggams and Lynn Whitfield and directed by Phylicia Rashad.

Today, producers Brian Moreland, Ron Simons, Eric Falkenstein, Mike Jackson and singer John Legend announced complete casting for Blue, a play by Charles Randolph-Wright and directed by Phylicia Rashad which will play a 16-week limited engagement at New York's legendary Apollo Theater (253 West 125th Street) in Harlem starting Monday, April 27 with opening night set for May 10.. Blue will run through August 16.
