The development of this professional production originated during COVID quarantine and through months of research and the re-imagining of the script and its characters, has gradually evolved into a Nuance Theatre Co. main stage production under the direction of John DeSotelle.

Synopsis: The story is set in 1938 and revolves around a meeting of eight women to discuss what to do about an imminent attack they fear is mounting from the men's ward. Housed in a mental asylum, the women are (or at least believe themselves to be) eight famous figures from history: Gertrude Stein, Susan B. Anthony, Joan of Arc, Queen Isabella I, Osa Johnson, Pearl White, Constanze Mozart, and Amelia Earhart.
