The Nutcracker
Multi-award choreographer Chiara Ajkun’s rendition of Tchaikovsky’s ballet performed by the dancers of the Ajkun Ballet Theatre. Enjoy complimentary photos and a post-performance chat with the artists and Seating close to the dancing.
Imagine traveling in time to a magic land, where beautiful ballerinas, hilarious mice and dancing flowers bring you to greet the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. Whether you dreamt to be Clara in the Nutcracker or simply wish to celebrate the Holidays with the artists of the Ajkun Ballet Theatre, Chiara Ajkun’s ballet is perfect for children and adults alike. Seated in the show, free to take pictures and videos to share with friends and ending with meet-the-dancers for photos and memories, The Ajkun Ballet’s Nutcracker is one not to miss!
Classical ballets are of greatest importance in the Ajkun Ballet Company’s repertory and revisited by Chiara Ajkun with the greatest respect for the original intention of the choreographer and composer. Two centuries later, Chiara Ajkun believes ballets to be more enjoyable in a concise form – hence her interpretation of the classics in one-act versions. More on www.ajkunbt.org
