Inspired by historical events, The DIARY is a musical drama set in Amsterdam in the 1940s during World War II. The story chronicles the lives of eight German Jews forced into hiding; the Franks, the van Pels, and Fritz Pfeffer, the dentist, along with the courageous workers who helped keep them alive for over two years. Among them was a young, ordinary, teenaged girl named Anne Frank, whose brief time on Earth proved to be anything but ordinary.
The production will be directed and musically directed by Jana, with Anthony Pompa serving as Technical Director and Marc Leland as Producer.
