Based on the 1994 MGM film, this jukebox musical portrays the story of three drag performers who embark across the Australian desert to deliver their cabaret performance. Throughout their journey, they encounter love, loss, adversity, and discover the true meaning of chosen family. The production features notable hits such as "It's Raining Men," "Hot Stuff," "I Will Survive," "Macarthur Park," among others. It signifies the New York City revival since its Broadway debut at the Palace Theatre in 2011. The show is directed and choreographed by Ryan Hendricks, with musical direction by Lorenzo Pepino. The cast comprises twenty-one members, led by Brandon Fox as Tick/Mitzi, Gina Lariccia as Bernadette, and Trey Jolly as Adam/Felicia. The Gallery Players is Brooklyn’s premier off-off-Broadway theatre company, now in its sixtieth season.
