What happens after you turn 50, have two teenagers and are married 20 years? You have a Mid Life Mood Swing!
This one person show is about Mary Kennedy (Shameless, Hulu, CONAN) journey being a roadie for her Mom’s wedding band, having the real-life Kennedy’s as her cousins and navigating motherhood, marriage and ultimately menopause.

A Boston Native, Mary Kennedy was the recurring character “New Fiona” on Shameless, Season 7 and garnered the prestigious honor of being added to the Shameless Hall of Shame for the final season on Showtime. The movie Tales of a Fifth Grade Robin Hood, where she plays the role of “Berniece, The Lunch Lady”, is streaming on TUBI TV. Tales stars Jon Lovitz and Stephen Glickman. Just recently, the short, Free Chair, that she stars in, made it’s debut at Sherman Oaks Film Festival, with rave reviews! Mary also booked her second thriller Your Lucky Day, directed by Dan Brown which is due out in 2023. Films include, Tiffany Johnson’s film Girl Callin with production company REFINERY 29. Kennedy was cast, as the “Waitress” and it premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. She also was in “Shattered” as Mrs. Searcy, Starring Ray Wise, Molly Burnett and Arianna Zucker. She wrote and stars in her one woman show, Mid Life Mood Swing, about being a roadie for her mom's wedding band in the 80's. It premiered in Los Angeles, toured on the east coast and is back in Los Angeles, as part of the Whitefire Solofest 2023 on January 22, 2023. In Los Angeles, she was in the theatre production of AfterGlow the ‘80s Musical Experience with the #originalgorgeousladiesofwrestling (GLOW) as the legendary manager, Jackie Stallone which Kennedy received two Broadway World Award Nominations: Best Supporting Actor and subsequently she won a Best Ensemble Award. A Professional Comedian for over 25 years, she Headlines all over the country.

Originally from New Hampshire, Charlene Ward is a Los Angeles based comic living in Ventura County. She likes to travel so she has performed at bars, clubs, casinos and coffee shops across this great land. From San Francisco to Boston; from bawdy backyard shows to children’s parties, she can entertain all ages on all stages. This is absolutely her dream come true. In addition to slinging the jokes, Charlene is an accomplished actress having won a Broadway World Award for Best Ensemble for her role as Young Matilda the Hun in AfterGLOW – The Musical. She also directed the solo show Mid Life Mood Swing starring Mary Kennedy to rave reviews both here in Los Angeles and Marblehead, Massachusetts. You learn a lot about Charlene through her comedy. Her honest, bitingly funny look on her life and family makes her connect with young and old alike.
