This is transformative, reimagined Dale Wasserman classic strips away traditional 1960s gender dynamics—including a female Randle P. McMurphy (Sayra Player) —to exposes the universal struggle: the crushing weight of institutional authority against the fluidity of the human spirit.

In this ward, the "Combine" seeks to mechanize identity itself, and the patients find power through diverse perspectives and a shared fight for freedom.
