NEW YORK, NY – Acclaimed New York City-based jazz vocalist Karen Mack returns to the main stage at Birdland Jazz Club on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM with a vibrant and joy-filled new program that celebrates connection, spontaneity, and the evolving voice of jazz and swing.

Blending reimagined standards, contemporary jazz favorites, and original material, Mack’s latest set also spotlights music by leading female songwriters shaping today’s jazz landscape, including Val Hawk, Rosana Eckert, and Grammy Award winner Nicole Zuraitis. Whether leaning into a lyric or opening space for her dynamic band to stretch out, Mack delivers an evening rich in humor, musicality, and emotional depth.

Known for her warm, storyteller’s sensibility and adventurous musicality, Mack seamlessly weaves vocal harmony, wordplay, and improvisation into performances that range from swinging and soulful to intimate and lyrical.

Mack will be joined by an all-star ensemble: Andy Ezrin (piano), Pete McCann (guitar), Matt Aronoff (bass), Mark McLean (drums), and Dave Mann (saxophone), with special guest vocalist/pianist Elliot Roth.
