Comedians go on job interviews with real life hiring professionals in an effort to get the job. The catch? They'll be assigned terrible fake resumes that they won't see until the show.
Will these performers successfully crank up their corporate charisma and defend some truly terrible credentials, or will their meetings with administrators land them on the “do-not-hire” list? It's up to them to Get Work!
Dan Vetrano hosts a delightfully absurd evening featuring entirely improvised one-on-one meetings that go completely off the rails. In what is essentially the world’s most unfair job fair, Get Work is a high-energy homage to the American workforce, corporate culture, and the often soul-sucking process of finding a new career.
This month's comedian candidates include Matt Barats (HBO, Just For Laughs, Reveries), Edson Montenegro (UCB), Che Guerrero (Comedy Album "A Temporary Summit"), with interviews by Dana Leavy-Detrick (Brooklyn Resume Studio) and Faisal Ajam (Lawyer).
