Catbaret Purrsents...Meowloween! at Caveat

Catbaret, NYC's one-of-a-kind cat-themed variety show, returns for its spookiest night of the year. Created and hosted by Gemma Smith since 2018, Meowloween brings together comedy, live music, and burlesque (aka purr-lesque) for a Halloween celebration unlike anything else in the city.

Hosted by Smith at Caveat on the Lower East Side, and sponsored by Weruva, the night features some of NYC's most talented performers, a costume contest with prizes, a raffle benefiting local cat rescue, and free cat ears and catnip for every attendee.

Known for its warm, inclusive atmosphere, Catbaret brings together cat lovers and nightlife fans alike for an evening that's equal parts joyful, creative, and unapologetically fun.

• An audience costume contest and raffle with prizes from top cat brands.

Stage kittens Filthy Mari Chino and Jenny Purrson (Jenny Pierson, founding executive director of the Cat Museum of NYC) will keep the show running smoothly.

Inclusive, welcoming, and 21+. No actual cats in attendance.
