Choreographer Ephrat Asherie and Grammy award-winning jazz musician and composer Arturo O’Farrill collaborate in her company’s newest creation, Shadow Cities. Bringing together EAD’s exhilarating choreography — a unique remix of street and club dances including breaking, hip hop, house, and waacking — with live music anchored by O’Farrill’s singular jazz sound, Shadow Cities’ cast of six dancers and four musicians delve into a contemplative reflection on the beauty, vastness, and joy of our complex and multi-faceted lives.
