Artists can perform a short story in any format; film, monologue, dance, skit, song etc.

We try to keep each performance/story to about 15 minutes each.

Cast

Sharon Mosley
Playwright
Sharon Latimer-Mosley made her playwriting debut in April 2022 with the Red Monkey Theater production of Thread. Fulfilling her long held dream of becoming a playwright. Thread appeared in the theater's three woman play series, Voices and Echoes: Past and Present at the Bartow Pell Mansion Museum, Bronx, NY. The series continued with a 2023 tour of local Westchester libraries. Thread was also featured in the 2024 edition of Cool Stories Volume 9. Sharon continues to write short plays, including a reading of her most recent short play, A Quiet Mind in May for a local fundraiser at the Empty Hand Zen Center in New Rochelle, NY. Sharon is an active member of the Supporting Characters Group and the Seattle based group PlayClub. In addition, she is the former Project Manager of the 2023 “Reckoning with Racism in Nursing” Documentary Project. Sharon holds a B.S. in Healthcare Administration.
Santina Leone
Dancer
Santina Leone is a New York based dancer and choreographer. This winter she made her professional debut in "The Nutcracker" with Eglevsky Ballet, and her choreography was selected for the 2025 White Wave Solo/Duo festival in NYC. This summer she studied, researched, and performed in Berlin as a first-edition “maverick” of the b12 research or die festival. She is originally from Long Island, New York and received a B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (2024). Her training at UNCSA exposed her to the styles of Cunningham, Limón/Humphrey, West African, Horton, ballet, and Countertechnique, as well as compositional practices. At UNCSA she performed contemporary works by Brenda Daniels, Darrell Grand Moultrie, and Dwana Smallwood. Lee Kurfist
Actor
Lee Kurfist is excited to be sharing the stage once again with Reggie; after having collaborated previously in a Cool Stories play ("Therapy Session") and the full-length "Intimate Apparel" by Lynn Nottage. Lee is a retired pediatrician and loves playing various characters in all forms of theater and short films. Thanks again to Reggie for including me in this latest installment! Break legs to all!
Dan Bellusci

DAN BELLUSCI (Jimmy) is delighted to lend his voice to The Hitman for this year’s production of Cool Stories. His recent credits include Wadsworth in Clue, Mickey Gorski in Greetings!, Curley in Of Mice & Men, and Sam Spade in a radio play production of The Maltese Falcon at Hardscrabble Theater. Dan is also a working musician who sings and plays several instruments, including guitar and ukulele. FB:@danbellactingandmusic.
Yvanhova Figueroa

Yvanhova Figueroa graduated from Taller de Danza de Caracas as a Modern Dance Performer in 2004 and holds a BA in Business Administration from Universidad Central de Venezuela. She has shown her work at the Alvin Ailey Theater, Dance New Amsterdam, New York Live Arts, Movement Research, and The Tank among others and has performed in Argentina, Canada, Venezuela and The United States. She had the pleasure to work with Ballet Teresa Carreno, TangoXTango, Sinergia Tango, The National Dance Company of Venezuela, Taller Experimental Pisorrojo, Mixed Movement, Palissimo, The Ballet of Connecticut and D10. She has formed a collaboration with independent choreographers such as Annette Herwander, Scott Lyon,Lindsey Dietz Marchant, Oliver Steele and Roberto Villanueva.
Frahydel Falczuk
Dancer
Frahydel Falczuk is a Venezuelan dancer and interdisciplinary artist based in New York City. She trained in contemporary dance at the Escuela de Danza de Caracas, after earlier studies in flamenco and tango. As a performer, she has been part of Rommel Nieves’ company 100% Impro and Sinergia Tango Company. Her current practice explores the intersections of performance with physical and virtual spaces. Through her ongoing project IMPROVANDO, she merges movement, visual arts, and audiovisual experimentation to create works that reflect on collective presence and environmental awareness. Recently, she collaborated with Yvanhova Figueroa on Littera Urban Our Gates, presented at the Riverside Drive Festival and El Consulado Art Center, alongside the premiere of Presencia. Her trajectory reflects a continuous dialogue between improvisation, collaboration, and interdisciplinary creation.

Actor
Reggie Street made her Long Island debut as Esther in Intimate Apparel. She has studied her craft at several studios in New York and The Bristol Old Vic in the UK. Her credits include TV, film and theater. June 2022, Reggie worked on her first solo show, which premiered at the NY Summerfest and also produces an annual variety show called Cool Stories in Manhattan. As a Long Island resident, Reggie enjoys gardening, writing, biking and flea market hopping. www.reggiestreet.com
