Almodovar’s work explores themes related to gender diversity and “sub-classes” conflicts, I would like to focus on my personal Queer-Puerto- Rican-Cha- Cha-Heels-Shaman identity as a point of departure.in Addition, bringing up their personal stories and identities, we will create exaggerated personas for each one of the dancers in exposure to the challenges, anxieties and neurosis that the process of making dance brings up. As consequence, and by aligning, juxtaposing and smashing these characters up against each another in an environment sometimes full of glamour or decadency, the dance will emerge and reveal itself.
