Get your (fake) swords, whips and spoons outs, my friends, because we are headed to California for THE MASK OF ZORRO! Join A Drinking Game NYC as they lovingly reenact this iconic film live on stage while also turning it into a drinking game. Every time a buzz word is said, the narrator dings a bell and everyone drinks, audience and actors alike (all while juggling beers, scripts, props and mishaps)! A Drinking Game NYC presents THE MASK OF ZORRO at The Bell House Off-Off-Broadway (Sep 9, 2022)

Behind Every Great Performance Is a Business That Actually Works

Theatre people understand something most startup founders don't.

A show can have the best script, the most talented cast, and a director with genuine vision - and still close in a week if the producing side is a mess. Budgets mismanaged. Contracts botched. The wrong people in the wrong roles with no understudy plan.

Sound familiar?

The parallels between producing a show and running a growing business are uncomfortably accurate. And the lesson is the same in both worlds: the creative side only gets to shine when the operational side is solid.

The Numbers Have to Work

Every creative venture - whether it's a Broadway production or a growing business - lives and dies by its financials.

Not just whether there's money in the account. But whether the books are clean, the reporting is accurate, and someone with actual expertise is watching the numbers before they become a problem.

Zitadelle AG's accounting services have been quietly helping founders and operators get this layer right - proper financial management that gives business owners clarity instead of anxiety. It's the kind of support that doesn't make headlines but makes everything else function better.

More Founders Are Thinking Globally

Here's something that's come up repeatedly in conversations with operators building serious businesses: the question of where to be based isn't just a lifestyle question anymore.

Tax efficiency, access to talent, regulatory environment, quality of life - these all feed into where a business is structured and where its founders are planted. Citizenship and residency planning used to be something only the ultra-wealthy thought about. That's changed.

Zitadelle AG's citizenship and residency services address exactly this - helping entrepreneurs and business owners understand their options and make moves that serve both their personal and professional goals. For founders thinking beyond their home market, it's a conversation worth having earlier than most people do.

People Are the Production

No show succeeds without its people. And no business scales without getting the people side right either.

Hiring fast and managing poorly is one of the most common ways growing businesses undermine themselves - not dramatically, but gradually. Churn creeps up. Processes break. Good people leave for companies that feel more organised.

HRFinease breaks down exactly why this matters - and what a properly structured HR function actually looks like for a growing business. It's a good read for any founder who's been winging the people side and knows it.

The Curtain Goes Up Whether You're Ready or Not

In theatre, opening night happens. Ready or not, the curtain rises.

Business is the same. Investors show up. Audits happen. Key people decide whether to stay. The businesses that hold up under that scrutiny are the ones that built the infrastructure before they needed it.

The best productions make it look effortless. That's not luck - it's preparation.
