"In our world, frogs and penguins are not too different from humans -- they too go through crazy things in a kooky world," according to Carol Triffle and Jerry Mouawad of Portland, Oregon's Imago Theatre. "Penguins battle for musical chairs as if it's the most important thing in their life - and for that time, it is," Jerry said.

As the creative team behind ZooZoo, a show where larger-than-life animals take on human scenarios, Carol and Jerry use their 30 years of creating extraordinary masks and theatrical illusions to dramatize this concept - to trick the eye, make everyday things come to life, and create new experiences. "Without a human body on stage to gauge size or set a scale, we create a wonderful space to change perception, and this illusion is where Imago's magic begins. Ultimately, we are trying to create moments in ZooZoo that can only exist in an Imago show -- an event or situation that resonates with the world at large -- but exists only in our show."

ZooZoo will run at The New Victory Theater from October 15 - 24.

Imago was last seen at The New Victory with their 2002 sold-out hit Frogz. For a clip of this show and for more information, please visit www.NewVictory.org.
