THE LADY IN PENTHOUSE B opened on July 25th, 2008 with book & lyrics by Peter Napolitano and music by Matthew Ward. The cast features Nancy Dussault (Into the Woods, Side by Side by Sondheim, Do Re Mi (Tony Nomination, Theatre World Award) and Bajour (Tony nomination), TV's "Too Close for Comfort") as Lady Susan with Stephen Bienskie (Chess and Cats), Michael Cone (La Boheme, Rags and Brigadoon) Gordon Stanley (Cabaret, Ragtime and Beauty and the Beast), JD Webster (Wonderful Town, Ragtime and Showboat) and Sally Wilfert (Assassins). The show ran until July 27th.

THE LADY IN PENTHOUSE B is a musical comedy story about gossip columnist Lady Susan (Dussault), the aging, raging boss from hell, and struggling actress Mel Mitchell (Wilfert), her downtrodden assistant, who engage in a comic war of wills surrounded by a friendly choreographer, a vicious male columnist, an evil cat, a faithful dog and Mel's dead Aunt Maida. Musical-comedy lovers are calling this tuneful laugh-fest "The Devil Wears Prada meets The Producers." Mark Hartman (Avenue Q) is the music director and Pamela Hunt (The Musical of Musicals: The Musical!) directed.
