Wayside Theatre SOME ENCHANTED EVENING Intern Cabaret Showcase Runs 9/24-25

Wayside's Acting Intern Company presents an intimate night of music and cocktails with their second Cabaret 'Some Enchanted Evening' of the 2009-2010 Season. For two nights only, Thursday, September 24th and Friday, September 25th, the Curtain Call Café of the theatre will be converted to a piano bar.
McLean Community Players Hold Auditions For THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST 9/25-10/10

Earnest has five male characters: two in their 20s, and three in their 50s-60s. There are four female roles: two ages 18-25 and two in their 50s-60s. The auditions are cold readings from the script; a British accent is preferred. No parts are pre-cast. This production will be directed by Carol Strachan and produced by Terry Yates.

There should be plenty of howls of laughter, as Theater at Lime Kiln takes the New Vic Theatre of London version of Bram Stoker classic novel and turns it into a crackling, tongue-in-cheek farce. If you've seen a New Vic show before, you'll know what to expect - action which regularly spills over into the audience.
