With a complex history and powerful legacy, the uniquely American art form of tap dance explodes with energy and sly storytelling. Led by MacArthur “Genius Grant” recipient Michelle Dorrance, this award-winning company champions tap, effortlessly blending tap forms from Detroit, Memphis, Chicago and beyond with hip-hop, breaking, house, and body percussion, composing rhythmic melodies as they go. “A visual, auditory, and rhythmic delight from beginning to end.
