Named after his latest single “Bless Somebody Else (Dorothy's Song)” to encourage bringing blessings to others, Carr will feature special guests and welcome area singers at the benefit concert, to create a night of hope and inspirational music for the greater St. Landry Parish, where the three churches had long been pillars of the community, each serving the area for more than 100 years. by Tara Bennett - May 21, 2019
Theatre Baton Rouge's production of 33 VARIATIONS is a theatrical delight. Written by Moises Kaufman and directed by Shannon Walsh, it is a mixture of a biographical play about Ludwig van Beethoven, and a 21st Century music scholar hoping to understand the origins behind his Diabelli Variations. It is a powerful exploration of obsessive artistic drive, the limitations of time, and the bonds of family.

BWW Review: SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER with Tennessee Williams Theatre Company
by Tara Bennett - April 10, 2019
Playwright Tennessee Williams is a definite master of his craft, possessing an innate skill at storytelling. He excels at creating a time and place that traps you within its web right from the very beginning. Written late in his career, SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER is a dramatic example of Williams' storytelling abilities, which focuses on the power and vulnerability that comes with the truth. Now playing onstage at Loyola University's Lower Depths Theatre, The Tennessee Williams Theatre Company's current run of SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER is a haunting rendition that perfectly honors Williams' 1958 Southern Gothic script.
