Set in Dublin, the story revolves around Guy, a talented but discouraged street musician, and a young Czech woman, simply known as Girl. Guy's music career has stalled, and he's on the verge of giving up.
Girl, a talented pianist who has recently arrived in the city, hears him play and is mesmerized. Touched by his music, she convinces him to record an album together. As they collaborate, a spark ignites between them. Their shared passion for music and their late-night songwriting sessions lead to a powerful connection.
"Once" is not your typical love story. The pasts of both characters are shrouded in a bittersweet mystery, leaving room for interpretation. The beauty of the musical lies in the emotional honesty and the power of music to transcend barriers and bring people together. September 16, 2022“Once,” winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will kick off Kelsey Theatre's 2022-2023 season. The romantic musical drama runs weekends from September 23 through October 2. Kelsey Theatre is located on the Mercer County Community College campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road in West Windsor.

July 20, 2022The Kelsey Theatre and Kelsey Forward Initiative will present an all youth cast between the ages of 11 and 17 in Raise Your Voice Jr, a brand-new revue featuring songs from across MTI's Broadway Junior collection. Dates and show times are Friday, July 29 at 8pm, Saturday, July 30 at 8pm and Sunday, July 31 at 2pm.

July 31, 2019It's a theater season filled with daring, colorful and memorable heroes. Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre has announced its blockbuster schedule for 2019-20. The curtain goes up on Kelsey's 46th season Sept. 12 with the beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein's musical The Sound of Music, followed by other major musicals, dramas, comedies, and shows for the entire family. Kelsey Theatre is located on MCCC's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible with free parking next to the theater.
INHERIT THE WIND Announced At Kelsey Theatre
May 10, 2019It's the 1920s and a Tennessee schoolteacher has been arrested and put on trial for teaching Darwin's Theory of Evolution. Forte Dramatic Productions presents the acclaimed play "Inherit the Wind" at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times for this powerful drama are Fridays, May 24 and 31 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, May 25 and June 1 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, May 26 and June 2 at 2 p.m.
