A Chorus Line is a Pulitzer Prize-winning musical that pulls back the curtain on the lives of dancers competing for a spot in a Broadway ensemble. Set on a bare stage during a high-stakes audition, the show explores the personal stories, ambitions, and sacrifices that define a life in the theatre. With music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, and a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, the production features iconic choreography and a score that has become one of the most celebrated in musical theatre history. Conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, A Chorus Line opens the Duluth Playhouse's 2026-2027 Main Stage Season at the NorShor Theatre.
