Twelve Kinds of Ice is a world premiere musical at Children's Theatre Company, directed by Artistic Director Rick Dildine, with book, music, and lyrics by Ben Steinfeld. The story follows Ellen as she recalls childhood memories of winter adventures with her father, tracing the journey from the first glaze of ice to building a backyard rink filled with skating shows, hockey games, and moonlit solos. Weaving together cold temperatures and warm emotion, the production explores grief, friendship, and the quiet ways people find their way back to one another. Recommended for ages 10 and up, the show runs on the Cargill Stage.
