Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, written by Jennifer Haley and produced by The Sound Company, is a darkly funny and suspenseful play set in a quiet suburban subdivision where parents watch in horror as their teenagers become consumed by an online horror video game. In the game, players must smash through zombies to escape a neighborhood of identical houses — but as the line between virtual and real begins to blur, fear takes on a life of its own. Described by Variety as "a nifty episode of The Twilight Zone, [with] an affectingly gruesome finale," the play explores suburban conformity, parental control, and the consequences of obsession.
