Vibrating with a unique intensity and vision, Toni Pierce-Sands' and Uri Sands' TU Dance returns to the Southern for its annual spring event. Sense(ability), an evening-length work by choreographer Uri Sands, is the culmination of a series of sketches exploring the vigorous synergy between the senses and the elements. Created in stages over the course of three years, each sketch has been examined, reworked and buffed to shine. Sands' luscious choreography incorporates dialects from ballet, traditional, modern and streetwise American dance, rendered with the company's distinctive, sumptuous and razor-sharp execution.
