Though it has been seen in regional theatres such as Arena Stage, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Hartford Stage, Guthrie Theatre, and Actors Theatre of Louisville, ELLA was created at Florida Stage nearly 5 years ago and has since gone on to be produced in many theatres across the country.

The Bay Street Project's next production, Doubt by John Patrick Shanley, was the winner of thirteen theatre awards in 2005, including the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play. The PlayGround Theatre in Miami celebrates its next original production, The Red Thread, with a world premiere weekend, starting with the grand opening performance on Saturday, April 16th at 7 p.m. Inspired by ancient Chinese folktales, The Red Thread tells the story of a young woman's heroic efforts to rescue her father's surprisingly miraculous masterpiece. Funded in part by a $100,000 grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation as part of its Knight Arts Challenge, The Red Thread is an original work written by Artistic Director Stephanie Ansin and Artist-in-Residence Fernando Calzadilla.
