Mad Cow Theatre announces Freud's Last Session, playing March 11 through April 3, 2011 in its intimate Stage Right.
FREUD'S LAST SESSION centers on legendary psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud, who invites the young, rising academic star C.S. Lewis to his home in London. Lewis, expecting to be called on the carpet for satirizing Freud in a recent book, soon realizes Freud has a much more significant agenda.
On the day England enters World War II, Freud and Lewis clash on the existence of God, the joy of love, the purpose of sex, and the meaning of life - just a few weeks before Freud's own death. Not just a powerful debate, this is a profound and deeply touching play about two men who boldly addressed the greatest questions of all time. Freud's Last Session caused a sensation during last year's New York summer theater season, and is still playing off-Broadway. Now, this "brilliant, mind-bending play" comes to Mad Cow Theatre, giving you the opportunity to experience the latest in Contemporary Theatre right in Downtown Orlando.Circle Mirror Transformation, playing March 18 through April 17, 2011 in it's intimate Stage Left.
