THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE At The Boca Raton Theatre Guild

The Tale of the Allergist's Wife is a comedic exploration of the Upper West side life of Marjorie Taub - middle-aged and middle-class - her loving husband, Ira, and her daily routines at Zabar's and the 92nd Street 'Y.' Marjorie's mother lives down the hall obsessing constantly about her digestive tract; her beloved therapist has just died; and she loses it in a Disney store. Unexpectedly invading her depression is her flamboyant childhood friend Lee who becomes entrenched in the Taub household as a seemingly permanent guest, not only drawing Marjorie out of her dark mood, but affecting her marriage as well.

The Centre Theater, the professional theater company at the Montgomery County Cultural Center, will hold their Fall Festival on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 5:30 - 9:00 PM at Savior Hall, 410 Airy Street, Norristown, PA. The event will have live music, singers, a sneak peak at an upcoming world premiere play, food, drinks and more. Awards will be given out to Stan Huskey from the Times Herald and State Representative Mike Vereb for their support of the Montgomery County Cultural Center.

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams. THE ADDAMS FAMILY is scheduled to open the Adrienne Arsht Center's Broadway in Miami 2011-2012 season, with performances from October 25-30, 2011.
