Connie's songs, written in the 1950s, helped pave the way for future singer-songwriters of the 1960s. Despite her influence, Connie vanished without a trace in 1974, packing her belongings into her VW Bug and driving away, never to be seen or heard from again. Thirty-five years after her disappearance, her songs were rediscovered with the release of a CD in 2009 containing her original 1954 demos, which quickly went viral on Spotify. Singer-songwriter Hope Levy performs Connie's songs in this live acoustic show.
