The Sunday performance showcases thirteen genre-spanning finalist choreographies competing for a $3,000 Grand Prize and $1,500 Second Place Award. The event also features an original dance performed by local students from East Valley Dance Project, a program giving students from Desert Mirage and Coachella Valley High Schools the opportunity to create with professional choreographers. Finalists were selected from more than 150 submissions from 12 states, Germany, and Canada.
